Mindy Turner/ Tia Mindy Studios

My Passion for photography was a gift passed down -unbeknownst- to me- by the most inspirational woman in my life: my Abuelita, Maria Asuncion Gamez de Aleman. She quietly documented our family's story with photographs and videos. Only later did I realize:she was teaching me to see love through a lens.

What began as a simple favor for my nieces baby shower turned into a calling I couldn't ignore. I realized I could freeze moments, memories and feelings that I never wanted to forget. Photography is more than a profession to me - it's an expression of love, legacy, and artistry. It's where legacy and edge meet - where bold portraits are shaped with warmth, soul, and intention.

I'm Mindy Turner, known to many, as "Tia Mindy".  I'm a mother to four incredible children, and auntie to a beautiful growing tribe of nine nieces and nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews. Family is in everything I do - how I shoot, how I lead, and how I make people feel seen. 

 When I photograph you and your family, I show up with the same heart, patience, and passion I give mine; blending creativity, connection and a fierce love for capturing your legacy.
